Reconstruction of Old Paper Fabric to Modern Office Space

Structural analysis and design were carried out for new reinforced concrete floor slabs and the steel roof framework. The engineering solutions and drawings were developed based on a highly detailed BIM structural model created from a scanned point cloud.

The project was delivered within a tight construction schedule while parts of the building remained occupied by existing tenants. One of the key challenges was the complete reconfiguration of the former factory’s interior and the integration of new mezzanine floors to increase usable area, while preserving the original historic limestone façade walls of this protected architectural heritage building.
