Renovation of High School

Structural verification calculations were carried out for both the new extension and the existing building. A structural BIM model was developed and coordinated with the building services to ensure the accurate integration of all systems while accounting for the existing structures.

One of the key challenges was preserving the exterior walls of the heritage-protected building while replacing the original floor structures, which were in poor condition. During the renovation, the existing floors were completely removed and replaced with new reinforced concrete beam-and-slab structures.
